The club's padel series brought players of different levels onto the same court — and kept the lights on late.
The series
The Padel Series ran across several evenings, with members and guests paired into matches that moved from early rounds to a closing night under the court lights.
Padel is the newest sport at the club and the series has become the quickest way for new members to meet other players.
How it played out
Matches were played in a round format, with the court booked through the evening and members watching from the side between games.
The standard rose through the series — by the closing night, the court had the kind of atmosphere the club wanted when it built it.
After the final
The series closed with the court still full and dinner served in the clubhouse. Rackets and balls for members and guests can be arranged through the club office.
