Independence Day at the Gymkhana: members, families and guests across the ground, the courts and the hall.
The day
The club marks Independence Day with a sports gala that runs from the morning across the ground and courts, with members and families taking part through the day.
It is one of the few fixtures on the calendar that is less about competition and more about the club being together.
Sport for every age
The programme mixes club sports with family activities, so children, parents and grandparents all have something to watch or take part in.
Cricket and padel sit alongside the informal games and gatherings that fill the outfield on the day.
The evening
The day closes with an evening gathering in the club hall — awards, a few words from the club and dinner for members and guests.
